The Road to Hana
Truly an amazing trek is to plan to drive the Road to Hana. We recommend leaving at 6:00 am, mapping to end at the Pools of ‘Ohe’o (aka Seven Sacred Pools). Along the way will be great places to take pictures, such as the Rainbow Eucalyptus Trees. There is an entrance fee of $30 per vehicle. Be sure to follow the trails near the ocean, and then ascend up the Pipiwai Trail to see the Banyan Tree, Bamboo Forest, and all of the waterfalls along the way, and end with the famous Waimoku Falls. Then, on the way back, plan to stap at the town of Paia and eat at the Flatbread Company to wrap up the day! A long but rewarding day.
The Turtles
Whether you are on the beach or snorkeling, you will find these friendly sea turtles around. We are not supposed to touch them, but do not be afraid of them. They are so enjoyable to watch and be around! By law, you are to try and stay about 10 feet from a turtle, but sometimes while snorkeling, they will sneak right up on you!
The Sunset
With Jehovah's creation, sunsets never get old, and especially in Maui. This view taken from the balcony is a daily occurrence.
Automobile Provided
Depending on your situation, the vehicle may be at the airport parking, or it mabe be at the condo complex. Either way, Andrew will provide you with keys to use the vehicle. It is always parked in spot 58. The spots are very tight, so please be careful to avoid 'dinging' the doors of the neighboring car. The vehicle is insured, but we recommend that you have your auto insurance as additional coverage, if possible. When you depart, be sure to fill up the auto with gas, and clean it inside and out
Air Conditioning
Living room has air conditioning. But the winds from one side of the condo to the other side, when vented windows are open, often provides enough cool air to be comfortable.
Your view
This is your view from the balcony. Enjoy the mornings and then the sunets from this view. If the sun is warm, there are blinds that lower to block the sun. But the view can't be beat!
Sleeping and Storage
This king-size bed adds much comfort to your stay. In addition, chairs and snorkel gear, and other items, are stored underneath the bed.
